Ty the Pie Guy – Let’s LIVESTREAM

In Family Entertainment, Livestream, Our Work, Social Media, WebSeries on August 9, 2020 at 6:30 pm

When Ty the Pie Guy’s Ty Freedman called Susan to say he wanted to make a difference for kids during Covid, 134 West teamed up with Ty the Pie Guy to produce 24 episodes of Ty’s Kitchen Dance Party LIVE – a streaming show to help kids stay active and engaged during a time of great stress for parents and children.  😍

Thanks Essential Workers

Ty opened each show welcoming kids to his kitchen and using dance and yoga for a fun kid’s work out, while also talking about important, timely issues – like wearing masks, Pride month, Black Lives Matter, missing graduation – giving kids and parents a way to discuss and deal with this unprecedented time. Even school kids and teachers joined the LIVESTREAM so Ty could shout out to students and fans around the country.

For the July 31st Season Finale on Facebook and YouTube Live, we joined STREAM for No Kid Hungry and raised almost $1200 to help provide over 10,000 meals for kids.  👍

What’s next for Ty the Pie Guy: Season 2 of Kitchen Dance Party LIVE? Or Ty the Pie Guy: The Movie? Stay tuned, mask up and eat pie!

I Dream of Dragons, Too

In Family Entertainment, Movies, Our Work, Transmedia, Uncategorized on February 15, 2015 at 10:48 am

awards_academynom_annieupdateWe are so excited for, and proud of, our friends at Dreamworks Animation for the amazing success of HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2. Over $618 million in worldwide boxoffice and it continues to gain much deserved critical acclaim with multiple nominations and several awards under it’s high-flying belt: The Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film and 6 Annie Awards, including Best Animated Feature Film and Best Director for Dean DeBlois. It has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Fingers crossed for a win next Sunday, February 22! It would be a great nod to the film, the franchise (cause really, no offense to Toy Story 3, but How To Train Your Dragon should have taken the 2010 Oscar) and to the studio that has broken so much ground with their edgy and inspiring filmmaking and animation.

Check out the fun Dragons site http://dreamworksdragons.com for a deep dive into this spectacular world, which highlights not only the amazing movies, but also the TV show, the games, the products and all the characters. It’s all the dragons you’ll ever need in one place. This TVGla and Dreamworks franchise site was a 2014 W³ Awards Best in Show Winner!

BEND IN THE ROAD: The Anne of Green Gables Musical is a fun and heartwarming family comedy musical based on the beloved classic novel, Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Anne’s intelligent, joyous and imaginative ways change the lives of all those around her in this small town, including Matthew, Marilla and nosy town gossip Mrs. Rachel Lynde. Anne finds fast friendships at school and a rivalry with classmate Gilbert Blythe turns complicated as they grow up.
